VetCare Canada seeks an RVT who combines technical capability with genuine care and compassion. The work includes assisting medical, surgical, and dental procedures, preparing patients and equipment, using diagnostic tools, and monitoring medicines under Veterinarian direction.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for medical and surgical procedures
Prepare instruments and equipment for surgery
Assist Veterinarians during dental procedures
Operate a range of diagnostic equipment
Monitor medicines under Veterinarian direction
Requirements: Registered Veterinary Technician qualification
VTNE passage or eligibility to write the VTNE
Positive standing with the provincial regulatory association
Accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology diploma
Respectful interactions with clients, pets, and colleagues
