Lead strategic communications and engagement for Assisted Living Alberta in Edmonton or Calgary, shaping public affairs, government relations, and stakeholder confidence provincially.
As Executive Lead, Communications and Engagement, you will advise the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leadership Team. You will establish communications, engagement, government relations, and stakeholder coordination functions with the Ministry and system partners. Your work supports ALA’s evolution as a provincial health agency.
Key Responsibilities: Lead provincial communications and engagement strategies
Advise the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
Oversee media, digital, web, and social channels
Direct public affairs, issues, and crisis communications
Build government,



stakeholder, and partner relationships
Requirements: Master’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field
Ten years’ progressively responsible leadership experience
Five years in senior communications leadership
Experience with government, ministry, and stakeholder relations
Healthcare or public sector experience preferred
Bring strategic communications, issues management, and executive advisory expertise to Assisted Living Alberta’s provincial transformation and service mission.
