Lead corporate real estate strategy and land acquisition for the City of Maple Ridge through a temporary full time municipal leadership assignment.
The Senior Manager oversees real estate, land acquisition, and land management functions supporting strategic objectives and long-term municipal planning. This senior role maintains a 15–20-year outlook, builds property portfolios for civic projects, and advises on capital planning. It also guides acquisition, disposition, leasing, conveyancing, rights-of-way, easements, and encroachments across departments.
Key Responsibilities: Develop long-term land strategies and property portfolios
Lead acquisition, disposition, leasing, and conveyancing functions
Establish consistent land management frameworks and processes




Advise senior leadership and Council on real estate decisions
Maintain the City’s Land Inventory System
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, planning, geography, or related field
Significant real estate and land acquisition experience
AACI or R.I. (B.C.) designation
Knowledge of legislation, appraisal, valuation, and acquisition processes
Valid British Columbia driver’s licence
Bring strategic land management, negotiation, and real estate expertise to Maple Ridge’s long-term municipal planning and civic priorities.
