As a Commercial Analyst, you will support CMHC MUR Directors through submissions, credit applications, due diligence, and member contact. You will help grow Meridian’s CMHC MUR portfolio, minimize loan risk, ensure CMHC compliance, and strengthen product penetration. The role requires financial accounting knowledge, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze MUR pro forma and financial operating data
Conduct due diligence and resolve credit-related questions
Complete credit applications and underwriting binders
Liaise with CMHC and prospective borrowers
Monitor relationship profitability and portfolio opportunities
Requirements: Post-secondary education or related job training
Knowledge of financial accounting and lending principles
Ability to analyze and interpret information logically
Ability to assess CMHC policy changes
Willingness to learn emerging technologies
Support CMHC MUR lending growth at Meridian through credit analysis, compliance, member service, and portfolio insight.
