A&W; Restaurants seeks an Assistant Manager in Kamloops, BC, bringing restaurant leadership and operational expertise to full-time shifts.
The permanent Assistant Manager supports the Manager with daily operations, guest experience, financial performance, and team development. You will supervise shifts, train staff, manage costs, and uphold A&W; Standards. Work includes compliance with WorkSafeBC, health, employment, sanitation, and food-safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise shifts and restaurant operations during Manager absences
Balance food quality, service speed, guest satisfaction, and costs
Review P&L; statements and support financial performance
Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule restaurant staff
Resolve guest concerns and monitor satisfaction improvements
Requirements: Five years restaurant management experience within ten years
Secondary school certificate or equivalent
Supervisory experience and solid leadership skills
Basic or Intermediate First Aid certification
POS, Windows 11, and MS365 Business proficiency
Use restaurant leadership, cost control, and people development skills to support A&W; operations in Kamloops.
