Support resident comfort through thorough cleaning and sanitization as a part time Housekeeping Aide in a long term care residence.
The Housekeeper cleans residents' apartments and common areas using institutional cleaning techniques. This work includes sanitation, floor care, garbage removal, documentation, and safety procedures. You will work with minimal supervision while respecting vulnerable adults and residence policies.
Key Responsibilities: Clean apartments and common areas according to assigned schedules
Sanitize furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, and windows
Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment
Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces




Transport garbage to designated areas and complete required documentation
Requirements: Valuable oral and written English communication skills
Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
Previous commercial, residential, healthcare, or laundry experience desirable
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet physical requirements
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
Bring sanitation, floor care, and dependable housekeeping skills to support residents in a respectful care setting.
