This CUPE position supports SOC3315, Section B00, in the Faculty of Social Sciences. The School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies seeks one assistant for a course enrolling 52 students. Work may include discussion groups, marking papers and exams, office hours, and exam proctoring.
Key Responsibilities: Lead discussion groups for Qualitative Analysis
Mark papers and examinations according to deadlines
Hold office hours for student meetings
Proctor examinations when assigned
Attend lectures if requested by the supervisor
Requirements: Knowledge of qualitative methodology
Ability to meet supervisor-established deadlines
Availability to work in person on campus
Ability to meet the course language requirement
Availability for January through April 2027
