This elementary school teacher position requires a bachelor's degree and three to less than five years of experience. You will prepare curriculum-based materials, teach through discussions and presentations, and support students’ individual learning needs. The work is completed at the physical location.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare subject materials according to an approved curriculum
Teach lessons, discussions, presentations, and field trips
Evaluate and document students’ progress
Discuss progress with students, parents, and school officials
Promote physical, mental, and social development
Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Three to less than five years of experience
Provincial or territorial teaching certificate
Teachers' association or federation membership
Excellent oral and written communication, plus creativity
Apply elementary teaching expertise, curriculum planning, and communication skills in an on-site rural public school setting.
