As a Service Estimator II, you will support Trane Account Managers and Controls Service Account Managers. You will prepare quotes for service agreements and quoted work while helping provide energy-efficient building solutions. The work involves materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and construction-related activities. You will also develop scopes, pricing, and proposal details for projects.
Key Responsibilities: Create service agreement and quoted work proposals
Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractors
Develop scopes, system sketches, exclusions, and points lists




Price purchased equipment for quantity and configuration accuracy
Identify savings opportunities and project risk items
Requirements: Three to five years of related experience with relevant education
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction
Financial and business acumen running projects on budget
Robust prioritization and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license meeting stated driving requirements
Bring HVAC estimating, construction knowledge, and detailed pricing skills to Trane’s Ottawa service projects and customer agreements.
