Lead internal controls and finance transformation for Neo Performance Materials in Toronto, strengthening policies, governance, and global process improvement initiatives.
As Director, you will own Neo’s finance policy and controls setting across its global business. You will partner with Corporate and regional Finance, IT, operations, senior management, and external advisors. The role also leads the Finance Systems & Data Governance Manager and supports practical cross-functional improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Develop Neo’s internal control environment, documentation, evidence, and remediation tracking
Maintain accounting policies, SOPs, and approval matrices
Coordinate ICFR policy reviews, communication, training, and implementation
Prioritize and project-manage Finance improvement initiatives




Provide senior management updates and coach the Finance Systems Manager
Requirements: Public-company SOX internal controls, risk advisory, or finance transformation experience
Experience leading cross-functional projects across functions and geographies
Experience developing finance policies, SOPs, and control documentation
Understanding of financial reporting, IT-dependent controls, and segregation of duties
In-depth SOX 404, ICFR, and COSO framework experience
Apply internal controls, ICFR, and finance transformation expertise to advance Neo’s global governance and continuous improvement agenda.
