Lead PetSmart store operations through merchandising, inventory management, and associate guidance in a full-time retail leadership role.
As a Retail Operations Lead, you share responsibility for operational excellence while supporting PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. You will oversee merchandise handling, pet care operations, point-of-sale activities, store opening and closing, and a safe, organized workplace. The role also supports associate development and pet parent experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Guide associates on product knowledge and presentation standards
Execute merchandise placement, seasonal displays, and promotional setups
Manage inventory levels, audits, replenishment, and markdown recommendations
Maintain pet care standards,



including cleaning, feeding, and watering
Act as leader on duty, assigning tasks and addressing concerns
Requirements: Two or more years of retail supervisory experience
Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in computer applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Bring retail supervision, inventory expertise, and associate leadership to PetSmart’s store operations and pet care standards.
