As a Reporter, you will cover stories that matter across the community. Your work will include breaking news, City Hall, crime and courts, arts, culture, events, housing, transit, and infrastructure. You will report quickly, accurately, and fairly while cultivating sources and community relationships.

Cover City Hall, crime, courts, and local events
Report on housing, construction, transit, and infrastructure
Cultivate sources and foster community relationships
Ask tough questions and engage local communities
Requirements: Degree or diploma in journalism, or related experience
Superior language, writing, and editing skills
Thorough knowledge of CP Style
Strong photography and video skills
Familiarity with Kitchener-Waterloo and nearby residence
