This contract-to-hire position supports door assembly within a busy manufacturing facility. You will prepare components, operate conveyors and pneumatic tools, inspect finished doors, and maintain production standards. Accuracy, reliability, physical capability, and safety awareness are essential.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble and lay up door components to specifications
Apply adhesives and position materials accurately before pressing
Operate conveyors, pneumatic tools, and presses safely
Inspect doors for alignment, glue coverage, and damage
Stack products and maintain a clean work area
Requirements: Six months experience in production, construction, or general labor
Six months experience using tape measures accurately
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
Ability to follow PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
Use assembly accuracy, machine operation, and quality inspection skills during repetitive second-shift door production in Chilliwack.
