Provide person-centered care at Easter Seals Alberta’s McQueen Residence in Edmonton, using hands-on support and compassionate communication during evening shifts.
As a Health Care Aide, you will support residents in long-term supported living under regulated health professional direction where applicable. Your work follows care plans, organizational policies, and Alberta Health Services standards. You will help maintain residents’ safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
Support secure transfers, ambulation, mobility aids, and mechanical lifts
Monitor health changes and report concerns to nursing staff
Document care activities, incidents,



and health observations accurately
Participate in reports, meetings, training, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements: Alberta Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
Active status on the Alberta HCA Directory
Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance
Availability for evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm
Bring reliable personal care, detailed documentation, and respectful communication to residents at McQueen Residence each evening.
