Build Java and Spring Boot microservices in London, Ontario, supporting TD’s customer-facing iOS, Android, and Easyweb experiences.
As a Software Engineer II, you will work on TD’s Online and Mobile backend team. You will develop APIs and microservices for Banking, Direct Investing, and Mobile Payments projects. The work includes Agile Scrum collaboration, testing, debugging, secure coding, and peer reviews.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
Build APIs for iOS, Android, and Easyweb interfaces
Perform unit and system integration testing
Troubleshoot defects and determine root causes
Participate in secure coding and peer reviews
Requirements: Undergraduate or higher technology-related education
Experience with Java and Spring Boot
Hands-on Java REST API development experience
Experience using Git, Maven, and Postman
Robust object-oriented design, coding, and debugging skills
Apply Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and secure coding practices to TD’s Online and Mobile backend services.
