Teach and support Introduction to Microeconomics students as an in-person Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa during Winter 2027.
This CUPE position supports ECO1104, Section G00, under Cristina Blanco-Perez. The work includes grading assignments and exams, invigilating examinations, assisting students individually or in groups, and completing related tasks requested by the professor.
Key Responsibilities: Correct and administer assignments and examinations
Invigilate examinations as requested by the professor
Assist students individually or in groups
Complete other related tasks requested by the professor
Requirements: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics or equivalent
Successfully completed ECO1104 or an equivalent course
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Brightspace is an asset
Complete mandatory legislated University training
Work in English and in person
Support microeconomics instruction through grading, examination invigilation, and student assistance at uOttawa’s Main Campus.
