Use HPLC analysis and laboratory testing as a Quality Control Technician at Diageo’s Gimli Plant, supporting whisky quality and safety standards.
Within the Governance Team, this position supports distillation and maturation processes for Crown Royal whisky. You will test grain, process samples, finished products, distillates, and maturates. The work includes operating laboratory instruments, maintaining sensory standards, and supporting ISO 9001 compliance. Accurate data entry and administrative assistance are also part of the position.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect incoming grain against established specifications
Analyze process samples and finished products
Operate HPLC, moisture analyzer, and NIR instruments




Perform yeast cell counts and sensory analysis
Maintain sensory laboratory standards and sample shipments
Requirements: Proven laboratory experience or relevant equivalent
Experience performing HPLC analysis
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and databases
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Apply laboratory testing, HPLC expertise, and careful documentation to help maintain Diageo’s whisky quality standards in Gimli.
