Lead municipal coordination for the Yonge North Subway Extension using project management, infrastructure planning, and stakeholder coordination skills in Richmond Hill. This temporary full time contract supports the City’s participation in major transit delivery. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this Project Manager coordinates planning, design, approvals, construction, commissioning, and municipal acceptance activities. The work connects the City with Metrolinx, delivery partners, consultants, contractors, neighbouring municipalities, and internal departments. Success requires schedule monitoring, risk management, technical review, and infrastructure interface coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate City participation across YNSE project delivery activities Monitor scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks,



and commitments Coordinate multidisciplinary technical reviews and track issues through resolution Facilitate utility, drainage, staging, access, and infrastructure interface solutions Coordinate approvals, construction oversight, commissioning, and municipal acceptance

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Minimum seven years of progressive infrastructure project experience Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technical submissions Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Valid Ontario Class G licence and vehicle access Apply project management, technical review, risk management, and stakeholder coordination expertise to support Richmond Hill’s subway extension responsibilities.
