This permanent full time position supports Weir Marine Engineering’s Combat and Control Systems team at CFMWC. You will liaise with naval projects and equipment managers while investigating systems and validating performance. The work requires Royal Canadian Navy knowledge, strong organization, and effective collaboration with stakeholders in Naval Force Development.
Key Responsibilities: Support technical, tactical, and operational investigations
Develop and validate documentation with equipment subject matter experts
Provide validation support for naval capital projects
Coordinate shipboard equipment and weapons testing activities
Lead complex test and evaluation activities
Requirements: College diploma or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent military training
At-sea naval operations experience as a Director-level Naval Warfare Officer
Operations Room Officer experience preferred
Eligibility for Government of Canada Level II security clearance
Excellent organization, written English, and communication skills
Bring naval operations knowledge, technical investigation skills, and test evaluation experience to Weir’s Halifax-based CCS team.
