This critical community role affects residents’ daily experiences and supports human connection. You will assist with programs, resident transportation, records, and orientation. The position requires recreation knowledge, senior experience, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and revise departmental procedures and programs with guidance
Set up activity areas and transport residents when required
Monitor residents’ interests, needs, and progress
Maintain program and resident records according to policies




Lead activities and promote resident conversation and interaction
Requirements: Diploma or certificate in recreation, leisure studies, or equivalent
Experience working with seniors and understanding motivation concepts
Understanding of leisure principles
Computer proficiency and a valid driver’s license
Required provincial records checks, where applicable
