As a Transmission Lines Civil Designer, you will support CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team on major Canadian infrastructure projects. Apply civil, structural, or mechanical engineering knowledge, PLSCADD, CAD systems, and drawing standards. Your work will contribute to protected, compliant, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Design overhead line structures and associated utility facilities
Perform structural design, analysis, and detailing
Apply loads, seismic analysis, and regulatory standards
Prepare reports, specifications, estimates, and design basis documents




Provide construction support, technical assistance, and field reviews
Requirements: University degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering
Minimum five years of transmission project experience
Proficiency with PLSCADD, CAD systems, and drawing standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities
Bring transmission project experience, structural analysis expertise, and PLSCADD proficiency to CIMA+’s growing Canadian engineering practice.
