Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in Westlake’s warehouse while supporting production on a 12 hour continental shift. Complete inspections and material movements accurately.
Reporting to the Warehouse Department, this position moves finished goods, packaging supplies, and WIP products. The work includes forklift operation, blue bed inspections, manual glue machine use, and safety compliance. Previous manufacturing experience is an asset, not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities: Complete forklift pre inspections and report equipment abnormalities
Move finished goods to designated warehouse storage locations
Supply production lines with packaging materials when needed
Inspect blue beds before conveyor placement
Follow HSE forklift, warehouse, and operational procedures
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent completed
Forklift certification through Company sponsored training
Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
Ability to complete reports accurately and legibly
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Bring secure forklift operation, accurate reporting, and warehouse support skills to Westlake’s finished goods operations on continental shifts.
