Xylem seeks a Shop Technician Level 1 for branch-location work in an industrial shop environment. You will test pumps, operate shop equipment, use hand and power tools, and maintain accurate work-order records. Product-specific training is provided.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and repair submersible wastewater pumps
Conduct mechanical and electrical pump testing
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
Record work accurately in Xylem’s management system
Maintain an organized, protected working environment
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Zero to two years of technical work experience
Electrical and mechanical aptitude
Critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Apply mechanical troubleshooting, electrical testing, and pump repair skills while supporting Xylem’s water technology mission.
