Coordinate extrusion dies at Can Art’s Brampton plant using organized tooling handling and careful attention to detail. Rotating shifts and occasional overtime apply.
As a Die Handler, you prepare and deliver dies to the correct extrusion presses according to scheduled work orders. You retrieve and store tooling through the Epics system while supporting cleaning and preparation for future runs. The position requires manufacturing awareness, basic computer skills, and protected work practices.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver required dies to presses by work order sequence
Load dies into caustic cycles and clean aluminum buildup
Process caustic tanks and prepare new tanks
Load, rotate, and time dies in the sandblaster
Assemble and break down extrusion tooling
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year as a die handler or operator
Basic computer skills and English reading and writing
Strong organization, time management, and multitasking abilities
Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship
Bring die handling, tooling preparation, and safety knowledge to Can Art’s extrusion operations in Brampton.
