Provide direct resident care and medication administration as a part time Registered Nurse with Extendicare, supporting seniors through compliant clinical practice.
Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness or Director of Care, the Registered Nurse delivers resident-focused nursing services. The work includes care assessments, documentation, medication administration, care coordination, and communication with interdisciplinary teams. You will also support resident and family education.
Key Responsibilities: Complete resident assessments, service plans, and required documentation
Order, safeguard, and administer drugs and narcotics
Coordinate resident care plans with interdisciplinary teams
Supervise delegated care and medication administration responsibilities




Manage significant condition changes and medical emergencies
Requirements: Current Registered Nurse registration in the applicable Province or State
Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers
Robust communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
Sound clinical knowledge and delegation ability
Current Vulnerable Position or Sector Screening within six months
Bring clinical knowledge, medication expertise, and care coordination skills to Extendicare’s part time Registered Nurse team.
