Commercial Counsel at Mecka AI will negotiate data licensing and technology agreements while protecting data ownership and managing contract risk.
This counsel role supports Mecka AI’s robotics and embodied AI infrastructure. You will advise AI customers, capture partners, BPO vendors, and enterprise partners. The work covers dataset licensing, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and approved negotiation positions. You will also help commercial teams close routine deals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate data licensing agreements with AI customers
Negotiate capture partnership, BPO, vendor, and software contracts
Build standard agreements, playbooks, and approval matrices
Protect ownership and control vendor use of collected data




Advise commercial teams on deal structure and risk allocation
Requirements: Law degree and admission to practice in one jurisdiction
Five to eight or more years of commercial practice
Transactional experience at a high growth company
Experience negotiating customer, technology, vendor, and partnership agreements
Ability to advise and train commercial teams independently
Bring commercial contracting, data licensing, and risk allocation experience to Mecka AI’s robotics-focused legal team.
