Apply tunnel surveying expertise to Scarborough Transit Connect’s Toronto subway extension, supporting TBM, SEM/NATM, and station construction activities.
As a Surveyor, you will perform daily tunnel survey activities for the Scarborough Subway Extension’s Stations, Rail and Systems package. The work covers tunnel alignment, excavation control, profile checks, construction layout, and as-built surveys. You will report progress and field issues while maintaining reliable survey control networks.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily surveys supporting TBM, SEM/NATM, stations, shafts, and tracks
Verify tunnel alignment, excavation profiles, and construction layouts
Establish and maintain tunnel control networks and control points
Collect, process, and verify survey data against project procedures




Maintain field records, reports, equipment checks, and documentation
Requirements: Post-secondary education in surveying, geomatics, or related discipline
Three to five years of construction surveying experience
Experience with Leica Infinity, Leica Captivate, and survey equipment
Proficiency using Civil 3D; MicroStation/OpenRoads familiarity is an asset
Ability to work safely underground and interpret engineering drawings
Support accurate tunnel construction and rail installation surveys through robust control, measurement, documentation, and quality practices.
