Lead strategic sourcing for Loblaw Companies Limited across Canada, using supplier evaluation, negotiations, and marketplace insight to guide Centre of Store procurement.
As Senior Director, Sourcing, you will lead Sourcing Directors supporting purchasing for more than 3,000 stores. You will advise Merchandising and Category teams on short and long term strategy. The work spans supplier selection, quality specifications, cost inflation, supply forecasting, commodity management, competitive benchmarking, and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic supplier negotiations and supplier performance metrics
Own enterprise supplier RFP processes through completion
Determine baseline costs and new product costing outcomes
Resolve supplier inventory issues with relevant teams
Coach and develop sourcing professionals
Requirements: Post-secondary business or supply management education
Five-plus years in procurement or related management
Experience within the meat processing industry
Analytical decision-making with P&L; and financial modeling
Microsoft Office proficiency and transparent communication skills
Bring strategic sourcing leadership, supplier expertise, financial analysis, and coaching skills to Loblaw’s Centre of Store team.
