ParaMed seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for full-time community-based care. You will work independently with primarily adult clients, using standardized tools, evidence-based care planning, and clinical expertise. Services may occur face to face in homes or virtually outside the region.
Key Responsibilities: Assess abilities and needs during community home visits
Conduct speaking and swallowing assessments for neurological concerns
Design evidence-based care plans using clinical expertise
Collaborate with healthcare workers and community resources
Maintain compliant professional client records electronically
Requirements: Ontario registration in good standing with the provincial College
New graduates licensed and accepted
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and explicit VSS
Support adult clients through home-based assessment, care planning, and coordinated speech-language services with ParaMed around Owen Sound.
