Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute. This role will be offered to work Monday to Thursday Nightshift or Weekend Nights, Friday-Sunday. The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing a forklift to move materials around a storage yard, factory, or similar location. The Forklift Operator is also responsible for loading and unloading trucks, conducting minor maintenance work, assisting with inventory documentation, and supporting full adherence to safety compliance regulations. Operate lifting devices, e.g. forklifts, hoists, elevating platforms, lift beams and swivel hooks inside and outside. Confirm inventory transactions are complete. Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices. Put away received materials to proper storage locations. Accurately ship and receive product. May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials. Support inventory control with accurate documentation. Accurately weigh and document materials. Participate in clean-up of yard and facility. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a forklift operator in a warehouse/shipping environment with a VALID forklift license from an accredited training program (class 1, 4, 5). Able to communicate well in English via radio and in-person.



Knowledge of secure lifting and handling techniques. Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
