49 Solutions is seeking an experienced Open

Stack Cloud Engineer to support an opportunity with Shared Services Canada (SSC) .

The successful resource will provide technical and architectural expertise related to the deployment and implementation of Open

Stack solutions.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on Open

Stack experience who is comfortable supporting large-scale environments, resolving technical challenges, and providing guidance throughout solution deployment.

Requirements All Applicants will need to verify the following experience: Large-scale Open

Stack deployment, including hands-on experience deploying Open

Stack within a large environment.

Open

Stack solution deployment and implementation, with the ability to support the team in deploying and building functionality within the environment.

Open

Stack operations and support, including experience performing regular technical tasks within complex Open

Stack environments.

End-to-end Open

Stack troubleshooting, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues across the Open

Stack technology stack.

Open

Stack scheduling troubleshooting, including an understanding of the scheduling flow and experience troubleshooting NoValid

Host failures.

Open

Stack architecture and technical guidance, with experience providing guidance related to: Multi-tenant Open

Stack architecture Network segmentation Provider-network design Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Tenant isolation Workload connectivity Operational procedures Open

Stack networking, including experience with networking configurations and connectivity within an Open

Stack setting.

Hardware bootstrapping, including experience with the hardware bootstrapping process and resolving associated challenges.

Open

Stack storage concepts and services, with knowledge or experience related to Ceph, Swift, Glance, and Cinder.

Stack cloud environments.

Large-scale Open

Stack deployments.

Open

Stack architecture and solution design.

Deployment, configuration, and implementation of Open

Stack solutions.

Troubleshooting and resolving complex Open

Stack technical issues.

Providing technical or architectural guidance to project and technical teams.

Enterprise-scale cloud or infrastructure environments.
