Advanced Excel and financial modelling define this Calgary-based Estimator role supporting ATCO’s workforce accommodation and camp services business.
As an Estimator, you will develop accurate, competitive estimates for ATCO Structures opportunities. The full time, permanent, in-office position involves cost models, pricing schedules, commercial submissions, and RFP support. You will collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Proposals, Commercial, and Indigenous Relations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for comprehensive Camp Services
- Build staffing and operating models from client requirements
- Analyze labour, food, occupancy, logistics, and service costs
- Lead pricing through submissions, clarifications, negotiations, and final pricing
- Maintain estimating tools, cost libraries, benchmarks, and templates
Requirements:
- Two to four years of related estimating experience
- Advanced Excel and complex financial modelling skills
- Experience with remote camps, hospitality, or industrial services
- Competitive proposal, RFP, tender, or commercial submission experience
- Ability to identify assumptions, scope gaps, risks, and opportunities
Support ATCO Structures with defensible camp services estimates, commercial analysis, financial models, and accurate pricing schedules.
