Shape enzyme strategy for Lallemand Biocarburants & Spiritueux using product development and commercialization expertise. This position can be remote from Canada or Brazil.
The Enzymes Manager connects R&D;, manufacturing, commercial teams, and external partners. You will identify enzyme technologies, guide development, and support commercial solutions. The work spans biofuels and distilled spirits, including applications testing, fermentation, and market adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop enzyme product targets across biofuels and distilled spirits
- Coordinate R&D;, suppliers, CMOs, and stakeholders
- Build development roadmaps, timelines, and project priorities
- Support launches, customer trials, and validation activities
- Present recommendations and innovation strategies to leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline
- Seven to ten years in enzyme development or related industries
- Cross-functional product development experience through commercialization
- Techno-economic analysis and technology evaluation experience
- Advanced MS 365 skills and valid driver's license
