Build corporate tax experience at Emera Inc in Halifax using Excel and Corporate Taxprep during the Winter 2027 work term.

Emera seeks a Co-op Tax student for its Corporate Tax team from January 4 through April 30, 2027. You will work with tax and finance professionals while supporting Canadian corporate tax compliance. The experience includes tax research, reporting, documentation,



and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns
• Complete Canadian tax information returns using Excel and Corporate Taxprep
• Assist with monthly HST filings for multiple entities
• Maintain records supporting corporate tax returns
• Respond to Canada Revenue Agency audit requests

Requirements:

• Pursuing an undergraduate Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to assigned work
• Excellent organization managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong analytical, communication, and cooperative skills
• Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency; Corporate Taxprep experience is an asset
