The Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute seeks a Part-Time Language Instructor for ESL 105, Pre-Academic Foundations in English. From January 12 to April 16, 2027, you will teach English-language instruction to approximately 25 learners. Coursework introduces topics, main ideas, details, simple conversations, short discussions, and sentence construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ESL 105 Foundations in English to beginner learners
- Introduce reading and listening through simplified passages
- Lead easy conversations and short discussions
- Teach simple and compound sentence construction
- Deliver classes Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in second language teaching, TESL, or related discipline
- Two years teaching ESL at college or university level
- Previous experience teaching this course or equivalent
- Experience with team-teaching
- TESL Certification or equivalent
