As a Laboratory Technician A, you will work in AGAT Laboratories’ Mining lab under the Laboratory Manager or Lab Supervisor. The third-level position involves assessing workloads, calibrating instruments, processing samples, and maintaining laboratory records. Your work supports quality assurance through data review, method validation, and non-conformance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize sample workloads by methods, due dates, and rush assignments
- Perform and verify instrument calibrations
- Load batches and enter information into ICP software
- Maintain and troubleshoot ICP-OES and ICP-MS instruments
- Communicate delays, issues, and quality improvements promptly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related chemical field
- Five or more years of laboratory work experience
- At least two years working with ICP instruments
- Experience with ICP operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Excel, data management, and English
