Analyze capital markets systems with SQL and Python as a Business Systems Analyst in Toronto, supporting TMX’s Data & Analytics team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics, you will translate business needs into system functionality and technical specifications. Your work will focus on fixed income products, workflows, requirements, process optimization, and data integration. You will advise stakeholders while supporting delivery across project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead discovery and documentation of functional requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder sessions aligning goals with technical feasibility
- Analyze workflows and identify operational bottlenecks
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Coordinate testing, training, and vendor integrations

Requirements:

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management
- Deep capital markets experience focused on fixed income
- Proficiency with SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, and Spark
- Transparent communication with non-technical stakeholders
