Oxford Learning Cambridge seeks a reliable Part time Elementary Teacher/Tutor for students from Kindergarten through Grade 8. You will teach reading, writing, spelling, math, and other elementary subjects using prepared programs and Oxford Learning methods. The position suits certified teachers, teacher candidates, university students with significant tutoring experience, or experienced tutors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach up to three students with individualized programs
- Provide elementary instruction across reading, writing, spelling, and math
- Follow prepared programs, lessons,
methods, and strategies
- Adapt explanations for different learning needs
- Record post-lesson notes and progress updates
Requirements:
- Commitment to a consistent weekly schedule
- Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or working with children
- Strong elementary curriculum knowledge through Grade 8
- Strong written and oral English communication
- Vulnerable Sector Check and commuting ability required
