We’re hiring foremen to lead crews on our heavy civil projects.
E. Corbiere & Sons Contracting is a heavy civil contractor based in M’Chigeeng on Manitoulin Island. We’re 100% M’Chigeeng First Nation owned, more than 75% of our workforce is First Nation, and our crews take on watermain and sewer, earthworks, roads, site development, forestry and mine site work across Northern Ontario with our own fleet of 110+ machines.
What you’ll do
- Lead a crew of operators and labourers on civil job sites
- Plan each day’s work with our project management team and keep the job on schedule
- Keep the site secure and our safety program followed
- Report daily progress and flag problems early
What we’re looking for
- Experience leading crews on construction or civil job sites
- Strong knowledge of site safety
- Clear communicator who can read plans and keep work moving
