This senior engineering position develops suppliers for current and future automotive programs. You will lead qualification, AQP, PSO, PPAP, and readiness activities while coordinating purchasing, engineering, and plant quality teams. The work also covers capacity, risk, and corrective action follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier qualification, development, and readiness for programs
- Coordinate supplier readiness, technical, and program reviews
- Conduct process audits and manufacturing capability assessments
- Drive corrective action closure and verify effectiveness onsite
- Prepare supplier performance dashboards and management reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Six to ten years automotive or supplier experience
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plans
- Experience with supplier audits and process assessments
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
