Lead yard operations at Amrize’s St-Constant plant using safety leadership and production coordination. This supervisory role includes approximately 10% travel.
The Yard Supervisor directs yard workers and coordinates industrial housekeeping, raw-material unloading, fuels handling, and alternative-fuels equipment activities. You will work with production, mechanical, electrical, and current works departments during normal operations and turnarounds. The position also supports improvement projects, refractory installation, reporting, training, recruitment, and shift personnel development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate yard workers and contractors
- Coordinate housekeeping, materials unloading, and fuels handling
- Plan activities with production and maintenance departments
- Champion safety,
efficiency, and working-condition improvements
- Supervise shift personnel and communicate operational objectives
Requirements:
- College Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Production Engineering
- Three to five years of supervisory experience
- Cement manufacturing or equivalent industry experience is an asset
- Knowledge of cement technology and manufacturing processes
- Microsoft Office, Google Suite, SAP, and bilingual French-English skills
