Design middleware integrations across enterprise systems while applying REST, SOAP, messaging, and API gateway expertise. This position is onsite five days each week.

This Middleware Specialist supports the Government Services Integration Cluster through planning, analysis, design, deployment, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and daily support. The work requires seven years of middleware or integration experience in complex enterprise environments. It includes IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM WebSphere, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or similar enterprise service buses. Experience with API Connect or Azure API Management, messaging platforms, cloud services, and integration patterns supports the technical scope.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, design, deploy, develop, test, and implement middleware products
- Maintain, upgrade, and provide daily middleware product support




- Analyze integration issues across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers
- Assess technical Change Requests and support release implementations
- Produce designs, code, configurations, scripts, and test cases

Requirements:

- Minimum seven years in complex enterprise middleware or integration environments
- Proven experience designing and supporting middleware integration solutions
- Deep understanding of synchronous, asynchronous, REST, SOAP, and event-driven patterns
- Expertise with enterprise service buses or comparable middleware platforms
- Experience with API gateway and management platforms
