Apply Python and machine learning skills to AI/ML workloads supporting the Ontario Data Platform’s transformation initiative. Work with cloud-based ML environments and LLM pipelines.

This Intermediate Software Developer role supports AI/ML initiatives across the Ontario Data Platform. You will run inference workloads, support LLM frameworks, evaluate model performance, and prepare datasets for experimentation. The work combines Databricks, DSPy, Python libraries, and reproducible documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot batch inference jobs
- Support DSPy pipelines and custom configuration loading
- Conduct LLM evaluations and track performance metrics
- Prepare, clean, and validate legal text datasets




- Annotate model outputs for error analysis

Requirements:

- Background in Computer Science, Data Science, or AI/ML
- Hands-on Python with pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch
- Exposure to DSPy, LangChain, or Hugging Face
- Familiarity with Databricks, MLflow, or cloud ML environments
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills
