Senior Specialty Solutions Underwriters develop expertise across insurance products and industry segments, including construction, farm, and transportation. You will assess specialty risks, support profitable growth, and strengthen relationships with brokers, customers, and internal partners. The position offers national office flexibility within Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept, reject, endorse, renew, or cancel policies
- Develop broker opportunities and long-term meaningful relationships
- Answer inquiries and recommend tailored underwriting solutions
- Review underwriting reports and communicate product changes
- Support and mentor Specialty Solutions team members
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of Specialty Lines underwriting experience
- Experience across relevant specialty insurance lines
- Analytical approach, sound judgment, and complex risk management
- Proactive communication and effective negotiation skills
- Eligibility to work in Canada
