Lead patient flow and capacity planning at Scarborough Health Network’s General Site as Manager, Access to Care. Guide timely patient transitions across multidisciplinary teams.

Reporting to the Director of Patient Flow, this permanent, full time management position supervises site-based Bed Allocation staff. The manager supports bed management, discharge planning, resource utilization, and exceptional patient care experiences. The work includes operational continuity, proactive capacity planning, and quality improvement aligned with hospital and system-wide goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead patient flow operations at the assigned hospital site
- Oversee capacity meetings, huddles, expected discharges, and barriers
- Guide Bed Allocation staff on patient placement
- Manage site capacity and timely patient placement




- Lead quality improvement initiatives for flow and discharge processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or related field
- Master’s degree in health administration, business, or related field preferred
- Five years’ healthcare leadership experience focused on patient flow
- Experience leading multidisciplinary hospital teams
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies and stakeholder co-design
