Support Macroeconomic Theory III students as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus in person. Use advanced macroeconomics knowledge.

Two CUPE positions are available for the 2027 Winter Semester in the Department of Economics. The assignment runs from January 1 through April 30, 2027, for 65 total hours. The work is conducted in English under Professor Lilia Karnizova’s supervision. Candidates assist with course administration and student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Correct and administer assignments and examinations
- Invigilate examinations as requested by the professor
- Assist students individually or in groups
- Complete other related tasks requested by the professor

Requirements:

- BA Honours in Economics or equivalent
- Successfully completed ECO3152 or an equivalent course
- Advanced knowledge of Macroeconomic Theory
- PhD student with high grades in doctoral macroeconomics courses
- PowerPoint, Excel, and Brightspace knowledge is an asset
