Lead Medical Radiography Technologist at Lakes District Hospital guides imaging services through clinical expertise, leadership, and department administration in Burns Lake.

Reporting to the Health Services Administrator, this position supervises Medical Imaging operations and translates organizational goals into positive outcomes. The work includes planning, budgeting, workload oversight, quality management, labour relations, and human resource issues. The technologist provides clinical guidance while maintaining regulatory, accreditation, and legislative standards. Rotating day shifts run from 08:00 to 16:00, including statutory holidays and excluding weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer, supervise, plan, and budget the department
- Monitor workload, quality, budgets, and human resource issues




- Implement organizational regulations, policies, and procedures
- Provide clinical guidance to Medical Imaging staff
- Maintain Diagnostic Imaging standards and compliance

Requirements:

- Recognized degree in Medical Radiography
- Five recent years of clinical practice
- Two years of supervisory or management experience
- Current CAMRT registration and BCAMRT eligibility
- Valid British Columbia driver’s license
