Teach Academic Enhancement in English at the University of Ottawa using ESL instruction and critical thinking development. This part time course runs weekdays.

As a Part-Time Language Instructor for ESL 130, you will refine previously learned reading and listening skills. Coursework develops speaking, writing, self-correction, and academic communication. Students complete debates, extended oral presentations, unguided summaries, and academic essays using diverse organizational patterns. The course is taught in English from January 12 through April 16, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in second language teaching, TESL, or related discipline
- Two years teaching ESL at college or university level
- Previous experience teaching this course or equivalent ESL course
- Experience with team-teaching
- TESL Certification or equivalent

Support ESL learners through reading, speaking, writing, presentations, and academic essay instruction at the University of Ottawa.
