Lead residential programs at The Salvation Army’s Journey to Life Centre in Thunder Bay, using supervision and social services expertise. This is a permanent full time management position.

The Residential Programs Manager oversees program delivery, staff management, client services, and operational administration. The position requires leadership across a 24/7 facility, including rotational on-call support and regular evening or weekend shifts. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, maintaining documentation, supporting safety, and working with community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, administer, and direct residential programs
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate Residential Programs staff
- Maintain schedules, staffing coverage, and Workday records




- Review client intervention and case management systems
- Enforce safety, security, and workplace procedures

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree; Social Work education is an asset
- Minimum three years’ related supervisory or social services experience
- Experience with diverse populations, mental health, and addictions
- Valid Ontario Class G licence, vehicle, and insurance
- Vulnerable sector background check and Microsoft Office proficiency
