Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
- Lead shift reports with members of the health care team
- Communicate changes in residents’ status to team members
- Document significant condition changes according to required standards
- Process physician orders and communicate implementation difficulties immediately

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing knowledge
- Knowledge of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
- Registration and valuable standing with the provincial registry
- Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
